What happens on driving test day

Appearing for a driving test can be a nerve wracking thing. There are so many things you have to learn and then you have to execute everything you have learned in front of an administrator. Just the feeling can take us right back to school and the nerves can play a huge part in whether you master the test or fail at it.

In addition to the month long training that you go through in preparation for the test, there are some tips and tricks you can use to make sure that you are properly prepared for the driving test. These tidbits of information can be make or break point for your test.

When you arrive at the test center, you must have your UK learner’s permit and your theory test pass certificate with you. You can also take your car if you want to give the test in it and if it meets the testing center’s requirements. In case you do not have a driver’s permit license and/or you have lost your theory test certificate, there are certain procedure you need to follow prior to the test date to get them. It is important to note that you will not be allowed to take a driving test without any or both of these documents and your test might be cancelled without a refund.

Additionally, you are allowed to have someone you know with you during the test. You can take one of your friends or family member to sit in the backseat of your car when you’re driving to give you that perfect level of moral support in order to calm your nerves. It can be anyone you know as long as they are over 16 years of age and do not interfere with the test in any way possible.
