Isleworth Automatic Driving Instructors

Automatic Driving Lessons for Your Isleworth Driving Test

We prepare learners specifically for Isleworth Driving Test Centre, and we’ve done it for over 10 years. Our instructors know the actual roads your examiner will use — the high-speed A-roads, the busy junctions, the residential streets — not a general idea of West London driving. That means we spend your lessons closing real gaps, not covering ground you’ll never be tested on.

Where Your Test Takes Place

Isleworth Driving Test Centre is based at The Wireless Factory, Fleming Way, Isleworth, TW7 6DB, on an industrial estate close to Hounslow. The centre is busy throughout the day, so be mindful of other candidates coming and going while you’re waiting.

What the Isleworth Test Routes Actually Involve

Isleworth test routes give examiners a genuinely varied mix of conditions, and we build our lessons around each of these:

  • High-speed A-roads including the A312, A4, and London Road (A315) — faster-paced driving where speed limit changes are easy to miss if you’re not paying attention
  • Twickenham Road and St John’s Road — busier stretches with a mix of traffic types
  • Bridge Road and Worton Road roundabouts — multi-lane roundabouts that demand confident positioning and decisive timing
  • Residential streets around Osterley, Brentford, and Hounslow — narrower roads and parked cars that test your awareness and positioning
  • The wider surrounding areas of Twickenham, Whitton, Cranford, and Heston — occasionally used depending on your specific test route

Because we teach on these roads regularly, we can flag exactly where our pupils tend to hesitate — a specific roundabout, a particular speed limit change — and put real practice time there before test day.

Pass Rates: What They Actually Tell You

Published pass rates for Isleworth vary considerably depending on the source and reporting period, so we’d always recommend checking the DVSA’s own current statistics for the most accurate figure. What matters more than any single number is preparation on the actual route — a pass rate is an average across everyone tested there, not a reflection of your individual readiness.

Nervous About Your Test?

Many of our pupils come to us anxious about test day, sometimes after a difficult experience with another instructor. We slow the pace down, talk through exactly what happens on the day, and build your confidence step by step. Knowing the Isleworth route in advance is itself reassuring — nothing on test day should come as a surprise.
